If you’re running wires over a long distance, make sure your cabling is beefy enough. Otherwise, you’ll deal with voltage drops, and your heaters won’t perform the way they should. If you mount them too low, you’re basically giving your customers a sunburn. We usually suggest hanging them at least 2.5 meters up. When several of these lamps kick in at the exact same time, they create a huge power surge. If your breakers are a bit lean, they’ll trip instantly. The easiest fix? Use soft-start controllers or stagger your timers. It balances the load on your system and keeps the lights from going out the moment the heat turns on.
