Power, Voltage, and the Right Fit
At the heart of this heater is a 2500W infrared tube, built to run on 220-240V. It cranks out serious, focused heat without tripping your RV’s circuit breaker. We made the tube 300mm long on purpose. It gives you a tight, concentrated heat zone that’s perfect for those awkward spots—like tucked under a cabinet or down low near the floor. There’s a 400V version for industrial jobs, but for RVs, the 240V model is the sweet spot. It keeps the wiring straightforward and safe. We engineered it to pull its full rated current without the voltage dipping, even on a standard 15A circuit.
The Good Stuff: Halogen, Quartz, and a Smart Design
The heating element itself is a halogen-filled quartz tube. The halogen gas does this clever thing—it recycles the evaporated tungsten back onto the filament. This means a longer life and consistent heat output, with way fewer burnouts. Quartz also handles the heat shock better than regular glass. So you can turn the heater on and off all day, and it won’t crack under the pressure. The connection is an R7s two-pin ceramic base. It’s a proven design that can take the high heat right at the terminals. And it makes this heater a simple, drop-in replacement for most standard infrared units. Plus, the tube coating is all about pushing that infrared energy outward. More warmth where you need it, and less wasted heat trapped inside the housing.

If you’re the one putting this in, you’ll appreciate the install. The compact size gives you a lot of placement options, and the R7s base makes wiring a breeze. The beauty of infrared is that it’s directional. It warms the people and objects right in front of it, not the whole volume of air. This makes for a cozier space and helps cut down on condensation.
